By affiliating with the ACGG you will support the continuation of the artistry of quality craftsmanship of fine custom guns.

"The specific and primary purpose of the Guild is to form an association of craftsmen who are actively engaged in the art of custom stockmaking and custom metalsmithing to the end that such craftsmen may exchange ideas concerning their craft, promote public awareness of custom gunmakers and their work and promote the betterment of custom gunmaking. The Guild will also strive to promote standards of excellence in the art of custom gunmaking and establish ethical principles that will benefit those who create and those who use custom guns." (First ACGG Newsletter, July 1983)

These principles will help to ensure that quality craftspeople in the gunmaking trade will always be available. Your support is needed for the Guild to succeed and prosper. By affiliating with us you help to ensure the current and future availability of Guild quality craftspeople to the gunowners of America and the rest of the world.

Each year the Guild holds an annual exhibition. Associates and spouses receive free admission. The exhibition is regarded as the finest display of contemporary custom firearms anywhere in the world today.  Associates have special members only hours.

The annual business meeting of the association is held during the exhibition weekend. Associates are invited to attend and offer input on Guild business and projects.

We offer a series of seminars  each year at the exhibition that can be attended at no cost. If you have any suggestions regarding seminar topics, please contact the vice president or the central office.

Associates receive all past issues of the ACGG newsletter the Gunmaker in the year in which they join and all issues, after that, during their membership. The American Custom Gunmakers Guild is involved in many aspects of the trade including practical tips, business and political concerns, education, and special firearm projects and the Gunmaker will keep you informed.

The Directory of Custom Gunmaking Services is published every other year and mailed free to all Associates. Associates also receive discounts on any Guild produced items including videotapes, past newsletters, etc. The Guild "Membership Directory" is available, at cost, and is an attractive binder notebook with a color cover and individual pages on each of the Regular Members including photos.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! Please call a current member or the central office if you have any questions. Thank you.
