ACGG Firearm #13

100th Anniversary Mauser 98 Bolt Rifle (1998)

American Custom Gunmakers Guild Firearm Project Number 13 – 100th Anniversary Mauser 98 Bolt Rifle

The ACGG’s #13 Rifle was created to celebrate 100 years of Mauser 98 history. It incorporates many of the traditional and functional features of the Mauser 98 sporter. Stock includes a scnabel for3end tip, European cheekpiece, and a half pistol grip. Added to the original action was an extended tang safety, the receiver was square-bridged and a rear claw mount scope base fitted. The Krieger barrel was tapered half octagon/ half round with integral quarter rib, full length low rib, integral front sight ramp, sling swivel eye and forend hanger for the captured forend wedge. Engraving in German relieved Arabesque complements the project. Game scenes are fully sculpted from steel. The ACGG logo is flush inlaid with 24k gold on the triggerguard.
